C2E2 - anyone got some wall pics/how’s the show 2 2

The title says it all folks!! Anyone there have some wall pics or a report they want to share? I know it’s early Sat just wanted to get a thread bc I went to this once before and had a BLAST!!

Went Friday. Had fun. Didn’t take pictures, unfortunately. I will next time. Supply of Gold wasn’t that great, but the show looked well-attended for a Friday. I like C2E2 a lot.

I had a great time for my first visit to C2E2.  Got to hang with Richard, Leroy, Gator, (Jay)Zolnerowich, Dom(uhnator), Dan(raze), and a few others who are regulars on here.  Really fun to put some faces to names.  And picked up a lot of great books.  Was able to fill a few holes in my Planet and Rangers runs from Richard (thanks again!).    Also a great Showcase 17 from Leroy and a Fight 1 from Harley.  And getting to see Metropolis and New Force's displays of incredible books was truly a treat.  I'm in for next year!

Here’s your ace reporter checking in!

I attended C2E2 on Friday and Saturday. Chicago was in the midst of a cold spell (temps in the mid 20’s to mid-30’s), but it was warm inside the convention center I can promise you that! The weather still froze the noses off of the good dealers hailing from points south.

There was a good range of GA books on show, and many of the major dealers were present. In no particular order: Bedrock, High Grade Comics, Harley, Worldwide, Greg Reece, Al Stoltz, Dale Roberts, Tomorrow’s Treasures, Metropolis, New Force, Terry’s Comics, Superworld, Graham Crackers. Apologies if I’ve forgotten a few.

There were two real highlights of the show for me  First, I got to meet some epic boardies for the first time, including mwotka (see above for his ace reporting!), Electron, and FriscoLarson. All great guys. And the second highlight was landing a ballpoint pen from Heritage! 

Gino asked for wallbooks. Yessir, we’ve got wallbooks!

Stellar wall pics.  I feel like that if I would've gone to Chicago, I wouldn't have known where to start in terms of buying.  So many crazy good books to be had.  Sensory overload for sure.

That empty spot under the journey into mystery in the bottom left of the first and second picture had a very nice 6.0 blue beetle 51 in it. But it came home with me.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL REPORT!!!!!!! Thanks so much!!!!!! I just LOVE looking at all these comics wish I coulda been there looks like folks brought lots of great stuff!!

The first picture here. Anybody know who's wall that was? Of all the beautiful wall books here, that Saddle Romances was the one I might want the most. I've benn on the hunt for that for longer than I can remember. Just NEVER see it...
