october
Sometimes the story is the best part. Where did you find these, October? All in one at a bargain bin? Multiple ebay purchased? Please share. Some came from eBay, some came from the LCS, some (the nicest stuff) came from a guy who invested in comics 25 years ago and is now selling it all off. Been buying from him off and on for 6 months. F For Fake
Had a great time at Lexington Comic Con this weekend. In the four years I've been attending, it has slowly become my favorite local-ish show. Attendance has really exploded. Reminds me of Dragon-Con 20 years ago. I frequented the 50 cent and $1 bins. Here are some favorite pick-ups Super nice run of Geoff Johns Flash books. Missing 197 198, but still seemed like a good buy. Great storyline! Some nice HG Jim Lee X-Men at 50 cents a pop. Some Alan Moore Swampy's. Some Dave Stevens and AH! Books (I don't see the X-Men Classic issues very often) And some randomness In the non-bargain bin purchases arena: I pick these up whenever I see them fairly cheap. Picked up a nice NTT 2. Think this may be my keeper copy. Definitely keeping this one. Probably the nicest copy I've ever personally seen. That is a tough black cover, and this spine is spotless. Love this book. And finally, the most fun purchase, a coverless but otherwise complete ASM 2.
