I actually enjoyed this movie (besides naked Thor), but I couldn't stand Ragnarok for making everything a joke.  I felt overall the humor felt right with this film compared to Asgard being destroyed and lets throw a zinger in there to keep the crowd laughing.

13th highest grossing on domestic list....   and still showing in theatres.

So it made a bunch of money but due to the $250M production budget its revenue ratio is equal to Thor (2011).

I think the GAO is hiring if you want to bring your accounting skills there.

lol. I didn't realize I had brought them. I posted a fact that it has overtaken Ragnorak and its Marvels 13th highest domestically.. You need to get a life.. You love to fight people.

Uh-huh.

It's the reality that it is one of the highest solo budgets ever. So what it passed Ragnarok? If the cost is 28% higher it would have to far exceed Ragnarok to beat it. It's that simple.

$3 National Cinema Day Sept. 3 is also in Canada. Not sure which is worse as both got weak reviews: Idris Alba in '3,000 Years Longing' or 'Thor: Love and' Blunder?

I still haven’t watched this. I really liked Ragnarok so I’ll probably enjoy this too?

Agreed!

Although afterwards upon reflecting on all the characters thrown away for laughs, Ragnarok is still better than Thor 4. At least Thor 3 had heart with Odin's passing and all the loss he experienced.

I wish they'd made Ragnarok a serious film, instead of all the stupid  jokes. The story was good, but the execution is unwatchable for me.

Best thing about this movie is Russell Crowe as Zeus.

everything else was utter spoon.
