I was always going to wait for this to come to D+, no way was I taking out a small mortgage to watch it at the cinema. But now having re-watched every MCU movie and series recently I can't wait for this to land just for something new. I don't care if any of you think less of me for that, even though in most instances it would put me in minus figures!

Don't worry, we'll only think less of you if you enjoy it.

  • 29th MCU film
  • 4th Thor film
  • 3rd highest (lowest) revenue ratio parallel to Thor (2011)
  • 28% higher budget than Thor: Ragnarok

I'm sure Kevin Feige is already planning the next one out to match the current film. :applause:

So it made a bunch of money but due to the $250M production budget its revenue ratio is equal to Thor (2011).

I think the GAO is hiring if you want to bring your accounting skills there.

'you love to fight people'

Uh-huh.

It's the reality that it is one of the highest solo budgets ever. So what it passed Ragnarok? If the cost is 28% higher it would have to far exceed Ragnarok to beat it. It's that simple.

Going to give this one another watch, this weekend for $3 National Cinema Day.

$3 National Cinema Day Sept. 3 is also in Canada. Not sure which is worse as both got weak reviews: Idris Alba in '3,000 Years Longing' or 'Thor: Love and' Blunder?

What an absolute piece of garbage. Please don't let Taika Waititi direct another MCU movie or show. Wow, just awful.

I still haven’t watched this. I really liked Ragnarok so I’ll probably enjoy this too?

not necessarily; not nearly as good as ragnarok.

Agreed!

Although afterwards upon reflecting on all the characters thrown away for laughs, Ragnarok is still better than Thor 4. At least Thor 3 had heart with Odin's passing and all the loss he experienced.

I wish they'd made Ragnarok a serious film, instead of all the stupid :censored: jokes. The story was good, but the execution is unwatchable for me.
