Bosco685
Quote You don't have to go too far in Hollywood to hear a story of just how good a guy Keanu Reeves really is. If his wrap gifts to the stunt team on John Wick: Chapter 4 are any indication, he's quite the exemplary fellow. With filming either close to done or already having completed on the fourth Wick flick, a pair of the aforementioned stuntmen have shared their fancy new gifts from reeves: a Rolex Submariner. Both Bruce Lee Concepcion and Jeremy Marinas showed the gifts off on Instagram. Visible in the pictures were a custom-engraved back customized with each stunt worker's name. "The John Wick Five, [NAME] Thank You. Keanu. JW4 2021," the engraving reads. Edited October 26, 2021 by Bosco685 media_junkie and ▫️ 1

The Brain
Hagakure (Kyūjitai: 葉隱; Shinjitai: 葉隠; meaning Hidden by the Leaves or hidden leaves),[1] or Hagakure Kikigaki (葉隠聞書), is a practical and spiritual guide for a warrior, drawn from a collection of commentaries by the clerk Yamamoto Tsunetomo, former retainer to Nabeshima Mitsushige (July 10, 1632 – July 2, 1700), the third ruler of what is now Saga Prefecture in Japan. Tashiro Tsuramoto [ja] compiled these commentaries from his conversations with Tsunetomo from 1709 to 1716; however, it was not published until many years afterwards. Written during a time when there was no officially sanctioned samurai fighting, the book grapples with the dilemma of maintaining a warrior class in the absence of war and reflects the author's nostalgia for a world that had disappeared before he was born. Hagakure was largely forgotten for two centuries after its composition, but it came to be viewed as the definitive guide of the samurai during the Pacific War. Hagakure is also known as The Book of the Samurai, Analects of Nabeshima or Hagakure Analects.
kav
I liked the first john wick the second one was goofy and the third one jumped the shark in my opinion. Why doesnt wick just shoot the adjudicator? He cant get in any more trouble than he already is in. And why is the adjudicator pissed that wick killed dantonio? He had his sister killed and she was member of high table. Selective outrage. Every one is a hitman in john wick-even homeless people. And everything costs one gold coin. Body removal, gun, suit, drink at bar, babysitting, candy bar-all one gold coin. I call BS. Ask someone for change in john wick and they will look at you funny. theCapraAegagrus
Honestly, I have not cared much for this franchise beyond the first film, which was fantastic. I saw the sequels on TV but would not be able to tell you much about them.
Bosco685
Quote Before charming theater owners from the Colosseum stage to close out CinemaCon last month, Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski walked the red carpet inside Caesars Palace and told The Hollywood Reporter that they had a simple goal for John Wick: Chapter 4. “We keep finding new and interesting ways to have John Wick suffer,” filmmaker and longtime stunt expert Stahelski explained of the Lionsgate franchise that has snagged $579 million at the worldwide box office, propelled by Reeves doing much of his own stunt work and fight choreography alongside Stahelski (whom he met on The Matrix franchise). “That’s where the action comes from. Figure out how to make him suffer, and then design backward.” The Brain

▫️
Dear John Wick franchise, please stop with the press checks. Anyone as legendary as the fictional character of Wick would know what condition his weapon is in right after he loads it. I guess we can thank Taran Tactical for that. Grendel72
Thot he only did that with the kimber and not the glock. If it isn't his gun then it's good to do a press check. And the kimbers are known for jamming.

I agree that the only time a press check is warranted is in the event you pick up someone else’s gun off the battlefield. But lately Hollywood gunfighters press check right after reloading their own gun. That’s training your muscle memory for failure.
