True Sport Picture Stories V4#6 March-April 1948 Street & Smith Pubs

Great book! Powell Hockey cover + 3 interior stories. Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year story by Powell. Jack Kramer tennis story.  If you like sports, this is off the hook!

A very pretty copy! Bright, clean, glossy, smooth, tight spine. Has a 3" upper right corner crease that does not break color. Very minor lower corner wear. Pages are off white. Book and centerfold are tight to covers. I don't mind putting this one back...

$45.

Western Bandit Trails #2 April 1949 St. John Pubs

Outstanding Matt Baker GGA western cover!

Small piece out of top right cover. Small chip out of top left corner of cover. Has a long, thin tear most of the way across the cover through title. Neatly mended inside long ago with magic tape. Otherwise pretty minimal wear with no other tears or creases. Book and centerfold bound well to covers. Nice, off white interior paper. Looks nice in a mylar.

$75.  Hot Baker for under a hundred dollars!

One of the current hottest war covers. Awsome Saunders painted bondage cover! Also has Dan Decarlo art inside as an added bonus.

A real rough filler copy. Cover is split and detached from book. Numerous tears and some minor old tape repairs. Couple of small pieces out of back cover. Cover presents pretty well in a mylar. Interior paper is off white. Grab a filler until you can afford to upgrade as I have just done.

Abbott & Costello #10 Aug 1950 St. John (tall issue)

Nice GGA cover with GGA inside. Has an all new Son of Sinbad story (different from the one shot) by Joe Kubert with great GGA.

A nice, clean tight copy. Has a slightly rolled spine which looks like occured during the printing process. A couple very small edge tears hardly worth mentioning. No pieces missing or creases. Tightly bound copy. Slightly yellowed interior pages. Just minor wear. Because it is a taller issue, these are usually found with bending at the top. This one has none.

This will go back in the box if it doesn't sell...
