Mmmmmm…..oroto.  My love for Maroto is well known. He was so spectacular in the ‘70’s in particular.

I'd love to know if there's an English version of this story (or else I'll just have to do my own translation).  This issue is amazing.  Maroto is so on-point (and it's not just a short 6 pager).

I'll grab some interior shots.  The artist looks to have swiped some Vampi images (based on some costume designs) and the date appears to indicate the printing in the early 80's (which could also align with swipes from Vampi).  Beautiful fluid linework and gorgeous colors that are soft enough to really accentuate the inks.

Word has come that the painting is complete, so should be in hand in a week. It is a new interpretation rather than exact reproduction by Enric.

She finally showed up this week with a little delay in customs. Even better in hand!  The texture on the wings is fantastic. Those aren’t color chips on the wings, just light reflecting on the paint build up.
