Super Sunday!  Enric Torres has done a small amount of superhero art over the years, and it may surprise you that I have a couple of those paintings as well. Here is my Supergirl for today’s offering. 
 

 

I must add, if her skirt/underpants situation was as depicted here, can you imagine the men and boys looking up to the sky in hopes of catching a glimpse?

The Pepe Gonzalez recreations of his Vampirella frontispieces are just incredible, and I feel fortunate to have a few.

Thanks for the feedback. I was starting to think maybe my daily posting was maybe a bit over the top. I’ve already posted some of the material earlier in the thread, so maybe another ten days or so of Spanish artist items from my collection.

I just noticed that I had posted the above Gonzalez piece earlier in the thread!  My mistake, so here is a fresh piece for today. 
 

I had Enric do this pencil recreation of his cover for Vampirella #21. Same large scale as my other pencil pieces.

Very cool! In black and white it gives off that “Rising Sun” Japanese flag vibe.

Wonder Wednesday. Yes, I do believe I can see London and France @Randall Dowling  This is another larger painting 26” x 38”. If Ms. Linda Carter had this version of the costume in 1975, I would have lost my mind.  Oh, wait, it didn’t matter. I was in love as it was.

In truth it was not Wonder Woman's lasso but her magic thong that compelled men into submission.

I’m not typically a romance collector, but this cover image from1983 by Enric was so compelling in person that I couldn’t resist.

What size is this? It appears small, and that’s quite amount of super fine detail in this piece if it is.

A respectable Enric painting used in Reader’s Digest for this Sunday morning. The emotion, lighting, shadows, etc just speak to me in this piece.
