I don't know who the seller is, but I wish he'd break up the Superman 1-10 lot. His #8 & #9 are really nice. I wouldn't even mind the #6 with the interior tape, if the price was right.

But seriously, it's a shame about the reddish stains on that one, as it really brings down the eye appeal on this otherwise pretty book. That is one eye-popping price for a book with that defect to have reached, even as rare as it is. Wonder if the new owner plans to have it cleaned?

I offered an eBay seller OS guide for this book, but he failed to even respond to my email. He's asking a bit higher than 20% over guide. Not a horrible price, and if it were a war cover I'd be all over it. But for a Prankster cover? I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger.
