Giggle #51 March 1948

Classic Abraham Lincoln birthday cover! Giggle and Ha Ha are some of the best funny animal covers of the genre. I love to box dive for them. These are so cheap and in so little demand to most that they seldom turn up. Highly recommended and about the only genre left that still hasn't spiked in price yet.

A tight, flat, complete copy with smooth spine. Back cover is a little dirty and some very small pinpoint stains at top left front cover. Bottom right corner has a couple small creases that barely break color. No tears, missing pieces or other creases. Book and centerfold bound tight to covers. Slightly yellowed interior pages with no damage.

Was $30.   Now $25.

Doc Savage Pulp June 1939

Cool dead guy in the closet cover...

For a pulp, this is a very nice one. Square, tight full paper spine with no fading. Looks like it was factory trimmed at top and bottom but right side has some slight overhang. This overhang is real nice with no tears worth mentioning. Just slight reading wear. Interior pages are yellowing a bit but very supple with no damage. A real nice copy.

Was $75.  Now $60.

Weird Item Time

Pre-Code Horror Dot-to-Dot book.

Features a ton of cool and classic PCH covers. Connect the dots to reveal the covers. 2019 Metro Books. I got two of these when they came out because I thought they were so cool and ususual. I have been working on one during lock down but this one is mint and un-used. Some are a bit challenging but a lot of fun. There are TONS of classic covers to keep you entertained while you wait for the world to return...

$15. (can be sent via media mail cheaply)

Strange Adventures #96 Sept 1958

Beautiful purple cover featuring Saturn

A VERY nice, pretty copy. Bright, clean and VERY glossy. Looks like it was read maybe once or twice. Due to the dark cover, several tiny spine nicks can be seen. Very tiny bottom left side wear. Not really a crease but just some wear. Small bend in center of cover. Could easily be pressed out if desired. Top left of back cover corner has a very light stain. No tears, creases, sharp corners and that gloss! Book and centerfold well attached to book. Very slightly off white pages. Hard to find these from this era so nice.

$60.

Tales of the Unexpected #3 June-July 1956

Unusually nice copy of this scarce early SA DC title. Looks like maybe read only once and put away. Has a few very minor spine bends and ticks. Very slight bend at top next to spine. Tiny 1/8" tear in back cover. The book has a very light bend from the top of the title through the word balloon in the letters EC. Also a small one in the guy's pants. Very pressable if you choose to do so. Otherwise incredible shape with no tears, creases, splits. Super fresh and glossy. Tight, smooth spine well attached and slighly off white pages. Don't mind keeping this one.

Was $225.  Now $180. Below Guide. Tough book!

Awsome black cover lady vampire cover!

A beautiful copy of this black cover pulp! Spine is square, tight with full un-faded paper. Cover inks are brilliant with nice original gloss. Factory trimmed at top. Bottom and right side have just a few minor tears on each side. Fresh, slightly yellowed pages. From my private collection...

What would this go for if it were a comic book?

OK, last one for the day...

Original 1963 Aurora Mummy built up Model Kit!

A very nicely done kit. Complete with beautiful paint. These were usually painted with shiny enamel paints. This one is done in matte colors and really simulates the desert where the Mummy resided. A lot of attention to detail on this one and one of the best of these Aurora kits I've run across.

Now, who else but Robot Man would offer something so cool on these boards?

$45.
