Lovely book, but I'm puzzled, how come its a Fantuchio and a Alfred Pennyworth collection.

That always kills me, but usually makes me more determined to try and acquire that particular book...LOL!

I remember this issue being one of the first I submitted to CGC for slabbing. Got it back as a 9.6 but with a restored purple label...ugh! Bought the raw off of eBay as a pristine copy but CGC found retouching on the cover.

I remember a guy at the 1982 SDCC had two pages from GL #76 (including the one with the penciled portraits of Kennedy and King) for sale at $150/ea. It was the last day of the con and I was already flat broke so couldn't make the purchase. It haunts me until this very day....LOL!

That long ago, and yet we see the same price discrepancy in the past years, that I CAN respect that look back. I suspect more people would than just when we were kids! I'm sure newcomers can relate; although, it still takes a wherewithal to understand those things we "passed on"  

Not as major in quality, but many books I've found in the wild make me look back like, "why'd you put it back?" ha!

That is the nicest copy I have seen. It makes Neal look better, the quality of that pedigree. 37 copies in 9.6 and you can be assured, you have the best one. That is epic.
