Way better than I was expecting.  Not as great as "Rogue Nation," but better than the most action movies - see "No Time to Die."

It was. Barbenheimer became such a box office marketing theme, it drastically distracted from a very solid film. Every one of the actors was hitting their stride in this film.

MI1-3 were pretty sloppy, then at MI4 they got really really good. Dead Reckoning is off the chart good.

this is true, but i do have a weak spot for #2, and Hoffman did make a bad-azz baddie in 3.
