Popular Post BigD702
This Last Ronin has been growing on me. In all the ASM # 300 is my all time favorite. The Star Wars #1 is a close 2nd since it is growing stronger as trade bait for a lower GRADE ASM #1. It's not worth as much as a lot of my Marvel silver age stuff but it is much more difficult to find. It's also the only comic I own from the 1930's That's one heck of a nice looking 3.0 Jasonmorris1000000

Popular Post B2D327
Not that I’d never part with it but since I got it for a steal, I’d have to give it to this one. Most of my prized collection is raw though, as I prefer them but if I ever decide to submit a couple of them it may change Jasonmorris1000000, ttfitz, Adam Lui and 6 others
Popular Post Venomous72
Not an uncommon one on these boards, but I never thought I would own this book. Wolverine has been my favorite since I was a kid and I would flip through Wizard Magazine’s Top 10 Heroes and Villains and he was always at the top. I ended up selling my Magic the Gathering cards in 2019 (I played Legacy so they were pricy) and ended up with over $3k in cash, so I said ‘well I guess it’s now or never’ and found this copy for $2.8k. Definitely my number one book. Bludriver, Hollywood1892, Namtak and 8 others

Popular Post MatterEaterLad
The FF was my first love -- the first series I collected and the first comics I bought with my own money as a kid. I also love Harlan Ellison, so to have Harlan's FF is Hollywood1892, Jesse-Lee, oldmilwaukee6er and 15 others 17
Popular Post Shrevvy
There is a little bit of a story behind this FF #5 slab. The company we used to own did some work with ACTOR (now The Hero Initiative). In 2005, ACTOR held a benefit auction in which they auctioned several items. The "big" item was billed as the worst copy of FF #5. It was Stan's personal copy and was signed by Stan. It was a fun auction and raised some money for a good cause. Our plan was to purchase the copy and auction it again every year for ACTOR, with the intent of winning our own auction as a donation to ACTOR. We got some follow up press in CBR or Newsarama, I forget which. Well, I realized I wanted the book for myself. We did other things with ACTOR, but I held onto this copy of FF#5. There are plenty of nicer copies, but this one is a favorite. gino2paulus2, Jasonmorris1000000, Namtak and 8 others

Popular Post gino2paulus2
This slab for me is probably my favorite. I hunted this book for a few years it is just so darn rare only 4 blue labels on the census. Think about that!! It came out only a few months after the US entered WWII and it is just easy on the eyes. So much going on but done so in an elegant way not crammed. The hero horror mashup element is insane. We have skulls and bondage and a US soldier and witches and the moon and those trees laid out over the hilly graveyard scene. Even the Logo is brilliant. The last issue of this short but well respected run. This copy presents very nicely with decent pages so for a book from 1942 i couldn't be happier. A true keeper!! Popular Post BrntWS6
Bought this for $20 in 1992. Got this for cheap too in the 90s. Love the cover. $100 on ebay 2 years ago raw. I also have a TMNT 1 2nd print at cgc that I paid cover for. Should be in the 9.0 range. These are all the ones I for sure wont sell for quite some time. Don't expect a high grade because it's well read but it's more just for me. Just got it back from CGC today. Some may ask why grade a 4.5 comic but it's pure sentimental value for me. And doubled by the opportunity to have Chris Claremont sign it. Larryw7, Tony S, Adam Lui and 8 others
