Did you take this awhile ago? I can’t seem to find the listing on 130point or eBay sold listings.

I took it today, typed in "hulk 181 Stan Lee signed cgc" @wiparker824 happened June 11th

Yeah their search on that site is so weird I found it now thanks.

Listing definitely looks fishy to me. Seller has 0% positive feedback, only 2 sales in their history. Both this book, first time June 1st for $3800 then June 11 they accept $1800? (:IMG_3103.thumb.jpeg.9d0eac36521bdf21816d44d0130bdc86.jpeg

If legit it’s quite a steal at $1800, considering the book hasn’t went for less than 2k even unsigned in a 5.5 since 2020. But I have my doubts this got sent at $1800.

On a side note, classic Stan signature placement:

Lol I didn't go into depth but I agree it must be bogus. Back when back in, 2016 there were a lot of china and Russia listings, so now maybe they've got wise and just made it a 0 feedback listing, which the other countries were too, but this one without a weird origin.

I hadn't clicked on the 130point eBay listing for it to bring me to ebay, so that's my bad 😞

Makes me wonder if this once super red hot book is going to go back down to the $50K price range after topping out at a quarter of a million dollars in a couple of sales at CC back in 2021, especially considering this most recent result of only $87K in Heritage's most recent Signature Auction the other week:  :tonofbricks:

Well I stand corrected. Another 8.5 just sold on Heritage for 12,600.

This book has really dropped 30% this year alone, blows my mind to be honest.

Are you saying that you are completely flabbergasted and shocked that it sold for so much money?  (:

Especially considering that there's another 126 equivalent 8.5 graded copies of this book out there plus another whopping 500 plus copies in higher grade, and no doubt, with this census count increasing on an almost daily basis.  Plus the fact that this latest auction result of $12,600 is actually more than double what this book in equivalent 8.5 graded condition was going for back in 2019.  hm

I am sure that all of the longer term comic book collectors here are still into the green and coming up roses with where the prices are still coming up on this book even in today's marketplace with these 5-figure prices.  :applause:

To me the price I paid for a book is irrelevant if my proceeds from a book ends up being 2/3 of what it could have been. I think most people are the same way and start price anchoring what could have been. I owned my TMNT1 since around 2016 and I would not have been happy if it sold for 12K when I could've sold it for 18K a few months earlier.

Yikes, given Heritage's 30% vig the Clink (10% vig) seller did much better considering the book sold for more on ComicLink and Heritage takes a much bigger bite of the pie. Not sure Heritage is the best venue for Bronze and newer books. (shrug)

May be a good time to be a buyer.

That ComicLink auction was a disaster for the seller.

Poor fellow. Didn't even net $17,500 on his forty year old comic mag. Times are tough all over.

Well don't come asking for sympathy here. The operative expression here is "crying crocodile tears". Or "crying all the way to the bank".

I look at it this way.  If I bought a book for $22,000 and at one point they were selling for $150,000 and now they are selling for $85,000 I am still happy with myself.   There are other things to be more upset over.

Agreed... you'd be a pretty miserable stock investor if you fretted over missing the highs...
