RBerman
I wish Atari Force would be reprinted. Looking back through my art records, I was surprised that I bought this New X-Men page by Van Sciver and Miki in the Morlock price range just a couple of years ago. I suspect it might not be there now. If similar pages are, show me! mcgillicutty, hmendryk, John E. and 1 other
Popular Post RBerman
I have discovered that tight pencils are about my favorite kind of art. Here are eight of the pages from Suicide Squad #7 (2021) by Eduardo Pansica, all Morlock friendly, even the DPSes. RBerman
Occasionally one stumbles across good deals on Bronze Age art too. Here's half of a Kanigher/Glanzman story about a disfigured war bride, from GI Combat #255. The third panel on that first page has a paste-up which must have altered the figure somehow. Slightly over Morlock price for the bundle. Edited March 17, 2022 by RBerman
Popular Post RBerman
Nicola Scott does just the sort of tight pencils that I love. Andahaion, BCarter27, BVladimirHarkonnen and 3 others
RBerman
Some more examples of excellent modern pencils. These GI Joe pages by Netho Diaz (written by Larry Hama!) were all $100 or less. They don't look so uniformly grey in person. RBerman
Langdon Foss' work on the quirky sushi-themed graphic novel "Get Jiro!" reminds me of Quitely or Pitarra, but far less expensive. John E. and SuperBird

RBerman
Here's another entry in my "I like pencils" theme. It's Fernando Pasarin from Gail Simone's final issue on Batgirl. Barbara and friends in a giant slugfest. Andahaion
Popular Post davidtere
Picked this up last weekend at the San Diego Comic Fest. It's not my usual thing, but it has Red Skull vs Kingpin and that alone was really cool. I think I did okay, way within the Morlock decorating guide. Pencils by Lim and inks by Bulanadi from Captain America 378 and the Streets of Poison storyline. fenip, cloud cloddie, Sean I and 4 others

RBerman
Did I get some more Morlock pieces? Yes, I did. Are they more tight modern pencils? Yes, they are. It's the work of Dheeraj Verma from Dark Horse's Conan the Slayer series in 2017. Three pages that summarize the whole issue: Page 4: Conan and Octavia, minding their own business, strolling through the forest. It's a younger, lither version of the Cimmerian than the Schwarzeneggerian one in Marvel Comics. hey, what are these marks on the ground? Page 11: Caught! Bad guys strike. Page 18: Freed! Conan cleans house after unexpected aid. Edited April 30, 2022 by RBerman Andahaion, davidtere and WolverineX

RBerman
I do like inked pages too though. Here's Thibert's ink of Barbieri's printed blue lines from Super Sons with Damien vs Talia: And some work by Butch Guice and Mike Perkins from 2017 action series Amber Blake. They were drawn on four boards in landscape and then shrunk to two pages of published art. I cropped a bunch of white space around the first panel, which was alone on its original page. RBerman
And here are some brand new Gavin Smith pages from the Star Trek: Mirror War series. Alternate universe versions of TNG and DS9 characters are pretty easy to identify. BCarter27

I have absolutely loved almost all of the of the examples you've posted and have actually found newfound appreciation for some modern artists via your posts, but Fernando Pasarin's art is incredibly hit and miss in my opinion. There are a few issues of that Batgirl run where his art pretty much ruins the book for me. RBerman
RBerman
A pair of Marcelo Ferreira pages from the "Death of Doctor Strange: Spider Man" one-shot. Well under the Morlock ceiling for the pair.
RBerman
Don't know anything about the series in which these Ediano Silva pages appeared, but the art looked nice, so I got a four page scene. RBerman
Got some more Nicola Scott pencils! The first set comes from the Convergence event, a sort of Secret Wars pitting the New Teen Titans against an alternate-world Doom Patrol. Then one more consecutive page from Superman to go with two I already had: davidtere, Mighty Hal and BCarter27
RBerman
Booth and Rapmund give us the Titans mugging for the camera during the Rebirth era. The top panel was the same as the bottom except Wally wasn't in it. babsrocks31
