Ron C.
I have always thought that I preferred a signature within the title of the cover (a la Chris Claymont), but this Bob Layton placement on his IM 128 is visible, yet not too distracting from the cover art. For perfect signature placement, the award goes to John Tyler Christopher. Msgarmar and ADAMANTIUM

I have had one or two books that were supposed to be signed by Stan Lee that were listed on the label, but without a signature.... which was not great. I got this one back (before knowing much about JTC's sig) and was a bit ticked off until I finally found his signature. Sketch on the label, nowhere to be found on the book! Edited December 6, 2021 by ADAMANTIUM Ron C., Fisionbomb, s-man and 1 other 1
ADAMANTIUM
@Ron C. I'm agreeing, the label notes not matching the book seems to happen more often than we think
