Given the description (straight from the comic rack to a box without being read), I'm surprised that what they showed in the video was low grade slabs.  That must have been books the OO bought already slabbed.  Plus $600,000 seems pretty low if there are multiple copies of big keys collected in the way described.  That single FF on the wall could be worth more than that.

I should add that I'm pleased they'll be at the Summit with these books.

A few pictures from Day One.  Nice size convention - room is not super crowded, something for everyone in the boxes.  Chatted a bit with @Funnybooks.  Looking forward to tomorrow!  One of the cool things is the opportunity to bring a few items you want to sell.  Lots of "non-dealers" with a short box or a dozen slabbed books setting up on available empty tables.

great show today! this is a must attend for west coast collectors, i hope it becomes a yearly event!

got to meet a couple of boardies including @Changer and @956Ref too, which was great. some amazing pulps were there too, not stuff you see at every show. here's a few pics of the room before people starting coming in too.

Spent way more cash then I brought, thanks to Jeff Itkin for the loan ,  But it was glorious. My haul below.
 

Looks like I will need to sell more books to pay off my new debts. See you guys Sunday.

... after seeing so many raw Zip Comics, great pulp original art, several Matt Bakers including Cinderella Love 25 in a relatively small show. Sorry, no cosplay or Funko pop pics. 😉
