I was really surprised the store was out of them , but I guess this is the new normal in the world today , an I fear it will get worse an never get better😳😞

Our supermarkets have quantity restrictions on eggs and frozen chips. We've got shortages on potatoes due to rain flooding our potato crops and destroying our crops this year, and something went wrong with our egg production too, not sure what though.

Plenty of days where sections of the store look like they did during the worst of the pandemic here.  It's very uneven and bizarre.  There was a time six months ago when they had no Corn Flakes for weeks.

I was going to mention that, in a way, but to say, it's hard to believe that we still have people that grew up in the "cotton fields!" 

She doesn't tell the story often but described having to do it to eat, and it took a lot of cotton to get food. Dallas was still a city, but a barely nothing, yet compared to the "country" she moved inward to the city, to get out of them fields!
