Here's an example of Harry Lazurus re-cycling his own BEM (Bug-eyed monster).

Eerie from August 1952 for Avon, then he decides to resurrect the BEM for a splash in Adventures in the Unknown in January 1954 and for the cover also.

This is an interesting one.

Same publisher, same title. Top splash is by Harry Lazurus, and then three months later the bottom splash is by Pete Riss with no involvement from Lazurus.   hm

These 3 definitely show the "laziness" angle of this thread.  There are only 17 covers to this comic so basically 1/6 of them have the same woman.  They didn't even flip the image to make it look different.
