George was my favourite artist and someone whose works brought me endless joy over the decades. He was kind and generous, but most of all he was ever so humble and loved his fans.

I, like many fans, put George on my Mount Rushmore of comic book artists. His talent is as undeniable as is warmth and love for his fans. What a great man and artist. His art and the way he treated others will always be an inspiration to me.

George Perez was one of my favoriate US artists and a great guy.

I met him on several conventions and was always very approachable and friendly.

My condolences to his family.

Certainly a top tier artist in comic history, and his kindness and appreciation of his fans were as high as I have seen from an artist. His spirit and enthusiasm will be missed. RIP
