These are books that I sought especially for the cover.  Not my copies.

Wally Wood

Now, totally agree with your choice here as this is an absolutely gorgeous and classic Wood cover and one that is pretty tough to top.  :luhv:

Kurtzman

Two-Fisted Tales #25 1952- Kurtzman cover- EC golden age war VG/F | Comic Books - Golden Age, EC, War / HipComic

...but here's my personal Kurtzman cover earworm. The 4 soldiers represent 4 different possible experiences in war: 1.) walking thru, seeing but not doing; 2.) Wounded or killed; 3.) actual combat; 4.) in the rear with the gear. The lead soldier's face is what makes this one for me. Perfect.

Not a lot of consensus on this thread.

The most loved artists seem like the most prolific, giving us so many to choose from. It’s a good problem. I’ve seen several different choices for LB Cole and for Schomburg, and it’s impossible to argue with any of them. Where do you even start with S & K? I thought maybe Cap 1 for them, but who knows
