Very sad. He had a great, realistic twist on his style which was a little like Joe Mad's - but more anatomical - I really liked his stuff in the 90s.

Met him twice, once at WWNYC and another time at Boston Comic Con. His son was with him at one of the shows while he was signing.

My favourite section of the Heroes Reborn FF run.  Pacheco showed he could write well too, in addition to doing some great art there.

Indeed, it's a great run for sure. Really enjoyed that run and should revisit it one day.

Avengers Forever is the thing I'll probably always most closely associate him with. Terrific book.

I really liked his style. It had that modern "flash", but with a good strong sense of anatomy and storytelling. A little Alan Davis in there as well, I think. Really great stuff.

Very sad news.  There are many diseases I wish that would be eradicated from this earth and that is one of top ones.
