Love dark backgrounds on books. Seems to highlight the artwork on cover.

the fact that this book is expensive-ish, given the contents of the book, establishes it as a top SA cover in the marketplace generally and for me specifically

This book.

It screams silver age and especially Marvel. Early enough to have a early Ironman armor. 

It was the first book I wanted in my collection when I got back into comics.

I do like a lot of covers and if I could only choose one, it'll have to be this cover of my grail book! Nuff said!

For me it's FF50.  First Marvel superhero comic I ever owned, purchased for 6 cents at a second hand book store in the mid 1970s.
