Hi,

looking for a grade on my Cerebus 1 and also maybe what you all think a bump from pressing would be (it’s got at least one flaw that is eminently pressable).

One large crease will bring it down to 6.0 but the pressing can remove that and can bring to 7.0/7.5.

Looks VF , but in hand might be different

around 7.5 pressed. The black cover is unforgiving, so I can see an unexpected bump. I echo @JollyComics rec to verify this is the genuine article. From what I can see using this guide below, I think it is, but I cannot state this with confidence since I've never seen either version in person. I'd also want someone who's familiar with the books to look at it in-person before sending (unless you bought this new when it was originally released)

I had several copies but I sold them too early.   My friend showed me the counterfeit copy.  It has telltale differences.  Those counterfeit copies are in high grade than the original copies (very few above 9.0 due to poor printing quality).

Thanks so much, all!  I've confirmed it's authentic (it's mine already).  I'm looking for a fair grade for sale as part of a full run (1-300) to someone who doesn't want to wait for pressing/grading.  It's basically where I had it pegged.  I would say it feels and holds VF but those darn spine ticks.
