I got fairly friendly with the artist of that piece. It was his first and only published work at Marvel, but he made a nice living self-publishing books like the NYC Outlaws and Thorr. Edit- Ken did a lot of uncredited work for Marvel, mostly inking but some fill in pencils but this was his only credited piece, as far as I know. He did some work at DC and he was an instructor at several art schools. He's still semi-active at almost 75. Nick Furious
This cover always captured my imagination in the early 80's but the back-issue price was out of reach for me as a kid. I finally bought a copy a few years ago and read it. It was pretty lame. Browns81

shadroch
Not a comic, but the Green Hornet and Batman meet-up in the 1966 series was epic. Kato vs. Robin is special in retrospect. I had no idea who Bruce Lee was at the time. mr_highgrade, B2D327 and Larryw7 2

He claims he had been sort of a wonder-kid, working with Wally Wood and Eisner before doing a bunch of stuff at DC. When I met him, he was doing self published comics and selling water-colored photostats. He'd mount a photostat on some foam board, cut it with an exacto knife and sell them as wall hangings around NYU and Pace. He'd go bodega to bodega with a shopping cart full of his stuff and sold his wares $5-10 a store. He wasn't the most talented, but he had passion and drive. Popular Post Shazbot
Strange teams up with Doom to save Victor’s long dead mother from Hell. Was one of the stories that really tipped me from liking comics to loving comics. Powerful story with great writing and art. southern cross
I thought infinity gauntlet, the first one was a good team up of characters. I was even waiting each month for the next installment and that was rare for any comic for me at the time Edited May 27, 2023 by southern cross Wrong series
