And not exactly a team-up, but it was cool to see Wolvy and Hercules interact in MTE 26....

I got fairly friendly with the artist of that piece.  It was his first and only published work at Marvel, but he made a nice living self-publishing books like the NYC Outlaws and Thorr.

Edit- Ken did a lot of uncredited work for Marvel, mostly inking but some fill in pencils but this was his only credited piece, as far as I know. He did some work at DC and he was an instructor at several art schools. He's still semi-active at almost 75.

Not a comic, but the Green Hornet and Batman meet-up in the 1966 series was epic.   Kato vs. Robin is special in retrospect.  I had no idea who Bruce Lee was at the time.

Apparently. Burt Ward didn’t either. :roflmao:

That's him.  He claims he had been sort of a wonder-kid, working with Wally Wood and Eisner before doing a bunch of stuff at DC.  When I met him, he was doing self published comics and selling water-colored photostats.   He'd mount a photostat  on some foam board, cut it with an exacto knife and sell them as wall hangings around NYU and Pace.  He'd go bodega to bodega with a shopping cart full of his stuff and sold his wares $5-10 a store.  He wasn't the most talented, but he had passion and drive.

A Neal Adams classic.
I remember reading somewhere that actor Telly Savales (Kojak) was the intended likeness but his permission couldn’t be obtained for the original cover

Plus which, it's not really a "team up" if it's just you and a girl.
