Didn’t know that, but the more heavily-shaded art style he used in the Bronze Age suggested a strong Milton Caniff influence.  
 

I thought that ASM artwork was brilliant, incidentally.

RIP to a legend, he will be dearly missed by all.

My deepest condolences to John Jr., Virgina and the Romita family.

My lone gun, that was not done in person, but was bought early on enough that I could have done both in person doh! but I bought it already graded SS back in 2017 as a noob. Still was recognizing the greats, only magnitudes more later on RIP
