I’ve never gone up close.

The odour of classic, old school newsprint permeates the air and can be enjoyed at a distance, anyway.

Never felt the need to get too carried away.

I have a weak gag reflex (keep this board PG, PLEASE) and a strong musty smell will trigger it something fierce. I’ve had to sell/give away back issues I’ve bought off ebay bc I literally couldn’t take it out if the bag without :sick:

Nothing finer than walking into a comic shop that's filled with the smell of newsprint! Doesn't happen as often as it used to, since they started printing comics on the shiny/slick paper, and they just smell acrid. It's said. But a store full of old comics and books, nothing better.
