JRibble Posted September 5, 2023 Share Posted September 5, 2023 This is rough but after a clean and press and stain removal through the Watcher it looks about as good as it is going to get. Lots of stress along spine. Scuff mark out and 1 inch corner chunk gone. Slight staining south of the U. Cover holds on both sides. At centerfold there was tape that was removed at both staples. However bottom staple still has some tape about 1/16" around staple but centerfold is loose there. Back cover has major stress around staples but hold. Color is good. NY Roadkill Posted September 5, 2023 Share Posted September 5, 2023 I'd go 2.0-2.5, if cover is attached. It's rough no doubt - but I've seen worse graded as Fair. Here ya go: Grade = 1.8~2.0 (if complete and unrestored) FMV for a CGC 1.8~2.0 is around $600, so CGC certification will run run at least $120 (High Value tier grading + shipping + return shipping + insurance).
