Is ASM #31 the most underrated Spider-Man key? 3 3

I never understood why this book didn't get the same love as some of the other big Spidey keys.  We have the first appearance of two major characters within the Spider-Man mythos with Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn.  The red cover make it tough in high grade copies as well.  I am thinking about buying a few high grade copies to hold but wanted to gain some perspective from others.

I agree it's an underrated key. But I think the main reason holding it back is that neither of the characters appear on the cover.

You could also ask the same question about ASM 42.

Well, the cover is straight up hideous. 

That being said...I used to own a copy...and I miss it! 

Was the first silver age key I ever owned. I agree that it's relatively undervalued.

One of the holes in my collection.  May be underrated but sure isn’t cheap!  Would love to get a high grade copy

I don't disagree, though MJ has several sort of cameo situations which dilute 42.

Yeah, the census at the top end feels low to me.
