ComicSpa
Book has very light rub top of spine f/c. A split there also probably during manufacturing. Inside back cover has a stain. Nothing on the outside back cover. Otherwise inside looks good. No issues. Thx for feedback everyone!
marvelmaniac
Two bindery tears with a color break at the top left corner, color breaking spine tick under upper staple. 9.0 VERY FINE/NEAR MINT (VF/NM): Back to Top Nearly perfect with outstanding eye appeal. A limited number of bindery/printing defects are allowed. Cover is almost flat with almost imperceptible wear. Inks are bright with slightly diminished reflectivity. An 1/8" bend is allowed if color is not broken. Corners are cut square and sharp with ever-so-slight blunting permitted but no creases. Several lightly penciled, stamped or inked arrival dates are acceptable. Very minor foxing. Spine is tight and flat. Staples may show some discoloration. Only the slightest staple tears are allowed. A very minor accumulation of stress lines may be present if they are nearly imperceptible. Paper is off-white to cream and supple. Very minor interior tears may be present. Q.N.S.
I was thinking 8.5 but I can see a 9.0 also in a case it would look much higher.
JollyComics
Stain on BC? The worst grade would be 8.0.
Lninefingers
It's tough because stains feel like a random number generator recently. I can imagine a scenario where they bust the book down to 8.0/8.5, and another where they largely ignore it and it comes back 9.2/9.4. So, yeah, I'm pretty useless on this one.
