This one's a little different, but it's by an artist that occasionally does comics. :)

For those that don't know what a kokeshi is.

It's currently part of an exhibition, so I won't actually take delivery until October.

I picked up a few pieces before Matt left for the Chicago Comic Convention since I did not go. :D

 

First up is "The Mirror". This is my first Oil and I absolutely love it. In hand it is breathtaking.

I was also lucky enough to be able to get the piece "Showtime" which Matt used on an exclusive postcard for the convention.

I didn't think I was going to get "Fair Play" since I noticed it after Matt had left for the convention but lucky for me it did not sell during the show so I am thrilled to have it.

Here are my first ever OA purchases. I'm a huge GI Joe fan and couldn't pass up the opportunity to pick these up from Mr. Robert Atkins. I've actually had these for a bit, but was holding off on posting them because Mr. Atkins allowed me to purchase these and have them in hand before the issue was published. Very cool guy to work with.
