I am wanting to get a few pieces of art and have been looking the last year or so. My focus is Marvel characters I enjoyed as a kid so that would be late 60's-early 70's.

Romita Spidey, Kirby FF, Colan DD etc.

I desperately want a Marie Severin Hulk page. I have seen a few but none that just grabbed me except one piece from TTA #92 in San Diego that was insanely priced. I asked several art dealers at the show what FMV would be and was told $3500-$4500. I offered $5K and they refused. It was the page just before the Surfer made his entrance.

Anyway I can cross off Kirby Thor. So here is my one and only piece of art framed and proudly hanging in my office. Hopefully more to come.

This past Saturday I had a lady come in and ask if I was interested in any animation cels,so I said maybe..let me see what you have. So we went outside and unfortunately there were very little cels..but there were a lot of sketches, and prelims. It turns out her husband was a man named Tom Ray. He worked for Warner Bros.,Disney,Hanna Barbera, and many other animation studios. His career began in the late '30's and into the '80's. He worked with Chuck Jones and many of the top animators back in the day. He was also one of 5-6 different artists that worked on the classic Grinch Who Stole Christmas movie from 1966. These are some great Grinch sketches I picked up from her (Tom passed away at 91 in 2010)....they are all roughly 10 1/2 x 13....

OH im jelly!

Very nice!

If I saw you with that I would def try to buy it from you lol

On the original the card in Gambits hand looks like the ace of spades, but then is clearly the ace of diamonds on the book.

That's an interesting observation. I wonder why...

Can you post some close ups? Damn colorist taking liberties I guess.

originally it appeared the spade was filled in and that's not the case. But in any event the color should be black. Just has a little redness. Anyways its a great OA cover Congrats

Thanks! In the other picture it sure did look like a diamond.

My first cover and i'm so happy about it.
