After doing so well on my consignments in the CL Auction, I decided to pull the trigger on this ultra-guilty pleasure of mine. The Lobo Paramilitary Xmas Special has always been one of my favorite books. The "Main Man" comes across Santa's Naughty & Nice List. Would've been nice to have more of his face on the page, but he's in every panel and some great Lobo dialogue. Even got the dog's butt in a panel. Thrilled to have picked up a page from this issue:

That's very cool. That comic has long been the favorite of my son. :applause:

Finally have this beautiful page in my hands.

A fellow boardie was kind enough to allow me time payments so I could afford it.

The Scorpion has always been my favorite Spidey foe and I couldn't let this page slip through my hands.

Nicely done! :)

Scorpion is a fine villain and Jim Mooney is a fantastic artist

I remember reading that Jim worked on more Spider-man pieces (pencils, inks, or both) than any other artist. I wonder if that's true. One thing is for sure, he did a very nice job here.

Here is a recent addition to my collection. Not expensive, but super cool golden age page from Whiz Comics #129 featuring Ibis and Taia by Walter Palais
