Or this one? <br> <img src="http://www.maxstuf.com/ebay/comics/130306/det113.jpg">

Can we please not post other than Krighton's books in this thread? It's getting confusing.

edit: it also seems pretty clear that your books are nicer, so I'm not sure your point confused-smiley-013.gif

Yeah, this is getting creepy. We're all here to see this specific "mystery box" find, not any other GA comic someone sees fit to post.

heh it was just a thought, i haven't touched them....i've used some white eraser on novels before but never comics

If you try to erase anything on a cover you will damage the book. It will not only remove the pencil marks, but also the cover gloss and cover inks. While in some cases it will not be as obvious to the human eye it can be noticed with a glass or even by touch. A number of good books over the years have been damaged by erasers.

I really do not think the $20K is such a bad retail estimate given what I've seen so far. It may be low. You really should make sure this person had no family, since this is not your normal stash to just give away.

Let me rephrase - If it were me, given the value here, I would be sure that there was no family of this wise woman who kept these books for 60 years that could benefit from some money. Sell the books, find them, and write them a check out of the blue. FWIW.

He should probably post it in the GA Forum in one of the "Have a Cigar Threads".
