(thumbs u Our Army at War is definitely my favorite of the DC Big five

titles but GIC sure grows on you and I find myself searching for more

and more of the books from that title.

 

Great cover Karma and I just seen a GIC 124 for the first time today

and it's moved up on my want list. Anyone have a nice undercopy? (shrug)

Karma that is a great find!

 

There are a lot of really great covers in th G.I. Combat run in the mid-1960s. Anything 7.5 and above on those is a real find. They're tough. And a couple of issues (#110, #111) the cover stock is really thin, so there are lots of popped staples and loose covers.

 

I love those books!

I'm sure you can imagine just how disappointed I was to see the 112 with the bottom staple popped and the 108 (one of my favorite GIC covers) with the cover, apparently, barely attached.

I've picked some really nice GICs from this LCS over the years so I know these will show up again one day :cloud9:
