Thanks Gang!!!!!!!! Thumbing, smelling, critiquing, reading, studying, photographing, and especially SHARING with you folks my acquisitions like you do yours brings such a fantastic sense of joy and accomplishment!! Is there a more enjoyable hobby out there with such a tight knit group of compassionate folks? I don't think that there is!! Celebrating with and rooting for each other to accomplish our goals and hunt down our grails is what makes this stuff so much fun to me!! Thanks again!! and yes i know i use a lot of exclamation points it's kind of my thing haha!!! what can I say i'm emphatic!!

Alright Folks here is one you do NOT see everyday!!! Very happy to have brought it home...NO copies on the census!! What??? That is right you heard correct not even ONE!! Heritage has NEVER sold one. Heck even Comicbookplus doesn't have a copy to look at so in case you are wondering what is inside I took a couple pics for ya (thumbs u (look at Captain Hooks belt on the US Jones Splash what a creep!!)

Aside from the beat up cover and fugly electric tape someone decided to doll up the spine with the actual insides are gorgeous and supple which I honestly wasn't expecting...

Does anyone have the link to the Ebay sale for the raw Wonderworld 11 from last year?

Thank you

Ask and you shall receive:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/142078525483?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&autorefresh=true&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&rmvSB=true

Definitely a very strong price at $2,725 for a raw VG+ copy, especially when compared to a condition guide price of less than $500. Interesting to note that after 16 years of grading, the highest graded copy of this book is still only a single VF 8.0 copy. :o

Looks like a raw VG copy of Wonderworld 12 sold on the same night for $2,624.99 which once again is a very strong price when compared to a listed condition guide price of only $348. Current highest graded copy on this issue is a bit better at a single VF/NM 9.0 copy. :o:o

Looks like the Fox books are definitely very hot right now, especially with very few copies entering into the marketplace. Inquiring minds are curious as to why you would be asking about the sale of the WW 11 after such an extended period of time. Any possibility that you might have a nice copy available for sale to a rather hungry marketplace? hm:wishluck:

Thank you. I recall discussing with MrBedrock the strong sale of a Wonderworld 11, but when asked for the link by another boardie, could not find the book through EBay's advance search.

I'd sell my 11 if someone wants to offer stupid money for it. (shrug)

Hey Gino, I'm a bit late to this celebration, but WOW! what a cool book! You really scored with those high-quality interior pages. I love the splashes; wouldn't mind more, at your leisure of course...

I remember back in the 90's Mark Wilson had a VF copy of 11 in his catalog forever..... I think it was 800 bucks..... my how times have changed. I lusted over that book back then, but that was a fortune to me at the time..... I was still struggling with dropping 300 on a book. GOD BLESS....

I guess it depends on the grade of the book as the front cover looks pretty nice here. (thumbs u

Also depends on what you definition of "stupid money" is. After all, one person's definition of stupid money cold possibly be another person's definition of a bargain price. hm

From my point of view, this issue appears to be quite underappreciated and undervalued right now, especially considering that it is the origin issue for The Flame. Overstreet no longer even seems to attach any type of premium to this particular issue for the origin factor which kind of runs against his MO when it comes to pricing valuations.

A definite change from way back when and certainly interesting to note that this used to be the second most valuable issue in the entire Wonderworld run and beaten out only by WW 3. :o Certainly not the case anymore. hm
