Going comic shopping...

I saw an ad in the paper and i'm going to check out some comics in a town just north of me. He says he has "thousands of new and old (10, 12, 15, 20 cent comics) and I think i'm going to go check it out. I dont know what i'll find, he didn't say much on the phone. I'm leaving in a few minutes, but i'll check this again before I leave. If anyone has something they want me to keep an eye out for, post here. I'll leave a message when I leave, and all of the replies i see up until then i'll write a list of and keep an eye out.

I am also going shopping tonight to go look at a large collection located close by. Supposedly 50K minimum value with lots of GA books and Silver 10 centers.

Yeah, this wasn't near as good of a lot as the guy tried to make it sound. Nothing there worth getting as far as I was concerned. There really wasn't anything there that I saw that I couldn't find a better copy of on ebay.

 

Anyway, pretty disappointing.

Sorry to hear it didn't turn out but believe me, it happens all the time. People either don't know what they have or they just plain lie to get you there.
