Picked this out of a large collection locally. Will have to see what CGC says. Love the wrap on this one! Don't see to many that are flush. Excuse the poor camera skills and my shadow making arm lol.

Just picked this up from the same collection as the Spidey Annual. Also snagged a raw 102 to go with it that should grade well. I remember one of my early Spidey comics purchases when I was a kid was a Marvel Tales reprint of this story.

Hey guys,

Sweet books. I figured I'd pop into this thread as I'm working on my ASM run and it's always been the main focus of my entire collection.

I collect other titles but ASM is the only run I'm trying to collect in full.

I started at 9 years old in 1994 with ASM #395 and have collected the title ever since. I missed a handful of issues between 1994-2000 I had to fill in but I have every issue from #395-700, including the new vol. 3 issues #1 and 2.

I picked up the odd back issue here and there but didn't get serious about collecting the whole run until about a year ago.

Since then I've filled in a lot of issues and I need about 180 issues to finish the run.

I'm only 3 issues away from a full run from #298-700.

Here's some recent pick ups...

Wife grabbed this issue for my 29th b-day :luhv:

I picked this up at 50% off on FCBD...$20 which is still a litle overpriced given the condition but oh well. meh

The next 3 issues I picked up from a local guy on kijiiji (kinda like craig's list in Canada). He basically bought them as a kid and put them away but was never interested in reading them, just liked the cover art. I got a great deal on these as he just wanted to sell them at 50% off guide price!

The next 2 issues I only paid $45/each about 4 months ago. :acclaim:

I picked up this 1st Hobgoblin (w/tatoos!) in a deal for 40ishsilver & bronze ASM books including 135, 136 for $200 so it was less than $4.50 per book, and they were all F+ so a very good deal. :headbang:

Just picked up on this thread, and I wanted to share my Spidey collection details. I finished off my complete ASM run a couple of years ago ( really, the only thing that keeps me buying ASM is to keep the collection complete, especially since BND almost made me end the run!) I have all of the Annuals, Giant Size, etc. I also have complete runs of Spectacular S-M, Web Of, Spider-Man, Untold Tales, etc. even have a complete run of Marvel Team-Up. Now I am basically just upgrading any issues if I come across higher grade copies.

Well done, they made a ton of them per year since the 90's when I stopped my last time.

I've been collecting Spider-man Comics since 1975. I'm currently working on the run of ASM 1-100. I am only nine issues short of completing that run. I had a AF#15 and a ASM#1 about 15 years ago but sold them when I needed a down payment on a house so I'm going to have to get those again. When I complete the 100 I will post a picture of them all together....it's kinda neat.

Putting runs together is one of the highlights of comic collecting for me. Getting the last few issues and finishing the run is a great feeling. Good luck! :headbang:
