It was a board purchase from Flaming_Telepath, a great guy to do business with for those of you who haven't The book was board graded in the 1.8 - 2.0 range which I obviously agree with. You can check the PGM Forum to see the grades posted there. I could never afford a HG copy of this book but this one is tight with solid staples and doesn't have a ton of rips of tears on the cover, so I am perfectly pleased with it! I've purchased a few books from Nick, and he is definitely a fine, upstanding citizen. As well as a rock-solid grader and more-than-fair pricer. (thumbs u Your Avengers run completion is a fantastic accomplishment. One of these days in the far, far distant future, I might complete my 1-200 run. In an impossible future, I'd love to have a 1-100 or 1-200 run of slabbed books I did just pick up a 9.6 #200 on e-bay

drewincanada
I did just pick up a 9.6 #200 on e-bay Hey, so did I! Was it from "fantasy-comics"? He seemed to have 3 or 4 copies in 9.6 grade up for auction. I won one from him a few weeks ago, and it arrived last Thursday. BTW, three of my slabbed Avengers came from Nick: my #35, #78 and #96. drewincanada
Better scan when book is in hand ! Nice one! Gotta love the Commissar! I love the Avengers issues from #16 through to the early 30s. Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Cap were a great lineup. (My all-time favourite era, though, is the Thomas/Buscema run from #41 through #62. That was golden!) The teens and 20s issues are the biggest gaps in my collection. It's getting mighty costly to try and fill in the gaps in grade.
