innocuous
This is tough, but it boiled down to which would I be more likely to flip, and which one would I keep. I'd keep the tec, so I'd go for that one. Exactly. Despite the rarity of the other book, I would want to keep the TEC in my collection.
JiveTurkeyMoFo
You can always find a tec 33. A MPFW particularly the pay copy is a once in a lifetime opportunity without question. I'm with Action1kid on this one. Exactly right. In fact, one day, I hope to own the Pay Copy MPFW. Just 5,000,000 or so pennies when you break it down. showcase4
Ok...I was right...this was an interesting one. At this moment we have a tie: 8 votes for MPFW and 8 votes for Tec 33. I guess the next new voter will determine the winner. Who will it be, and what will you choose?...and please state "why"
shiverbones
I'll vote twice for tec....
adamstrange
I'll vote twice for tec.... You were wrong once already. No need to compound it.
ashrael
This just in: Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1 I really can't pass on an extremely rare 1st appearance of the Sub-Mariner. While the cover is far less appealing, the comic just feels a lot more important. It is also the highest graded copy (Tec 33 has 1 higher restored, 1 same restored, and 1 other non-restored). After reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_Picture_Funnies_Weekly I couldn't pass on it.
The Black Hand ®
Thank's for the link! I just read that too and it just confirms my choice for the pay copy. How many of these are known to exist? I love batman, but I'd still have to go MP.
showcase4
The price for both was approx. $47,000. Which one would you choose, and why? ..........................or
ciorac
The price for both was approx. $47,000. Which one would you choose, and why? ..........................or Supey #1 all the way. It is a huge key book, unrestored, and I collect keys. The Suspense #3 has a great cover and it..........has a great cover.....and isn't worth $47,000 to me. G.A.tor
hello all.. as "ugly" as it is, I go with DC and Superman rick
1koko
agree with Rick - has to be the Supes.
The Black Hand ®
Have to be the Superman, but I'd buy a poster of the Suspense and put it on my wall. I do think that the suspense would be almost as good an investment, but maybe someone else with more knowledge on that could chime in.
action1kid
I got news for you. The 4.5 Blue label Superman # 1 is the Rarer book of the two. Ajusted for condition in an unrestored state that is. I think the book is worth 60k today. Superman is my choice.

october
Suspense, but just barely, and only because Schomburg and Cole are two of my favorite artists.
Dark Knight
Superman #1 because I collect hero books and it's a key book
shiverbones
can't decide really. Supes #1 never thrilled me, and that susense is just wonderful looking. Supes kinda ugly. I guess Because I collect DC, I'd go with superman #1, but i really think the other is a far more attractive comic.
shiverbones
The more I think about it, the more supes wins in a landslide...
