A 1970s RICHIE RICH cover plate for $350 . . . you could buy an original artwork cover, of this vintage, for less than $200.

 

Some might find these novel items to collect, but they do seem over-priced for what they are . . .

They're one-of-a-kind and if it was for a cover I just loved...and if I had more disposable income...and if they were priced at $9.99...I very well might bid. Maybe.

They're pretty interesting...unique and novel...but the only way I'd buy one of 'em is if I owned the OA to match. That would be pretty cool.

Way overpriced for what they are. They don't even present well. Given the number of actual plates in the process, even if you bought one how soon after would the black plate be offered and so on and so on. I think these things are only worth around the $100- mark. If that bid on the New Teen Titans plate at $400- is genuine then I hope he isn't going to try and get his money back anytime soon.

I dunno...I like em'. If I wasn't flat broke I wouldn't mind picking one up. Maybe I'll send the seller a PM in a couple of weeks when I am HOPEFULLY rolling in dough. I wouldn't spend $500 on a plate--but $250...maybe.
