Hi... my name is genuinely 'Ewan' and I genuinely live in the 'UK' - thus 'EwanUK' !

See, I've always believed in full discolosure right since I joined the boards!

 

Age 34, project manager (uhhh tedious job), father... never have any time...

 

Big Miracleman fan (have near complete top-census CGC set); rarely buy moderns; ebay a big a hobby as reading comics; presently researching UK comic fanzines; reading Swamp Thing post-Alan Moore (to see what happened) right now - it's pretty ok...

 

Other interests: genealogy (genuinely back to 1695! I come from a long-line of sewage workers and horse worriers), eating, weights and OCD.

 

Happy to be a peripheral member of the boards - ready to strike when required. Miss Ian Levine.

What the Heck, my name is Brian Rickard, 35 years old, I live in North Phoenix, Arizona. I am the Land Survey Supervisor for the City of Scottsdale. I am the boss of at least one board member here. I am married with two Daughters. I have been collecting since I was 9 years old. Yes 9. Still have those comics. Have a B.S. in Forestry. I collect mainly Marvel and Marvel original art. I am also restoring a 1969 Mustang. Life is good.

My husky of 12 years, Leia, passed away on Monday so this week has been a huge bumme

 

Sorry to hear that Anthony. I have a 3 yr old husky myself. They are not easy dogs to have, but he is awesome....

 

I am well known by most of the older members. I am soley into the original art. I was a huge DC collector, battling it out with Greggy & Rocketer for those sweet DCs. I am a huge Batman fan, focusing mostly on DC art. Although I have a soft spot for the Hulk and some ASM stuff....usually the stuff that is way out of my price range...

 

Michael Shuley. 38 y/o , one child from a previous marriage. (now 14 and a comic addict).

I work as a registered nurse in a large Boston city hospital in the Burn/Trauma ICU.

Spent 4 yrs in the navy and currently have my girlfriend serving in a MASH unit in Iraq. (also a nurse).....that is all.....

My name is George Panayiotou (not the George Michael one though I do get some of his fan mail from time to time and occasionally bothered by reporters - and no I cannot supply tickets before anyone asks).

 

I'm 37 years old, live in London and work in banking. Married for 7 years. I have a 4 year old daughter who loves Batman and Spider-man but thinks Superman is boring (good girl)

 

Had always collected Marvel silver age (particularly ASM and keys) till lured into Golden Age (particularly Tecs) by this board.

Howdy Everyone,

 

My name is John and I am a 29 year old PhD student from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I have been collecting and reading comics since I was a kid and have recently become a bit more serious in what I collect. Being a student does make the money situation great but I like to find key bronze and silver age Marvel books in highish grades. Hopefully in the near future when I am actually making some money. I also own the only copies of Speedball on the CGC census. Why do I have these you may ask, well when I was young Speedball was my first favorite comic so I decided I wanted to be the first them. It understand it was a waste of money but it was a fun waste of money!

 

I am fairly new to the boards and like to use them as a source of information and reply every once and a while! Recently I bought my first book from a board member and it should arrive soon (a JUNGLE comics # 85 CGC 4.0 which has a great cover)!

 

Besides comics I play a lot of sports (squash and basketball toping the list)! I have been married for just over a year now to a lovely lady who not only puts up with my hobby but buys me comics as gifts!
