icefires
By the way, is this your copy and did you buy it for $75 off of Comiclink? Jim I believe that's my copy; it's on the choping block to get cracked and re-submitted. It's a very nice copy and I think presents very well despite the numerical designation. Unless there's a hidden defect I think this one is a no brainer for higher contention. Sure looks better than a 9.0. Did you get the graders notes? Is this a job for Matt Nelson? dover
my first 100 pager in a long time. Hope it is as nice in person. Gorgeous looking book! Looks like it will grade out to a 9.6 as advertised. Have you done business with BLB Comics before? Are you going to submit it to CGC? I have bought a lot of books from Bob. I ask for big scans then get the books I want or the ones I think will grade well. He is pretty good on his grading. I have returned books (without a problem) to him because I did not think they were the grade I hoped. I have submitted all the ones I kept from him. I got my Batman 234 CGC 9.6 from him raw! Many were as advertised. I will get this graded and I will sell it.

Good point. There were people who popped in from time to time who said they liked 100 pagers, but I don't even see that any more. And I am also surprised Greggy didn't bid on the DC-19, which would have been an upgrade for him. I am starting to like undergrounds, especially Cherry (Thanks Eggs). As soon as I complete my 100 page CGC collection (two books away), I'm done. Not even much interested in upgrading.
jokersrevenge
wow selling me that witching hour 38 would buy you a lot of cherries... Yes, I agree with you interest is dropping and prices are tanking too, thank goodness.....
jokersrevenge
the only reason I'll upgrade from 9.6 to 9.8 is if it will be relatively cheap. I'm hanging on to the 9.6 anyway for sale later.

jokersrevenge
I am still collecting them because I think it's fun. When the fun is gone, I'll stop. Or when the cash runs out, whichever comes first.
JTLarsen
I collected all the ones I wanted (though the DC #5 Love Stories shot out of range too quick for me to grab it). No regrets, even if they do come down in price. I gobbled them up not just as a speculator, but for nostalgic reasons. I love the look of them and have fond memories of them.
