Popular Post Robot Man
Here is mine. Have had it since forever. Amazing color. Never could figure what the black line is across the title though. I remember in the old days, GA DC and Timely rulled the roost. Redbeard knew I liked Schomburg and suggested Nedors as a cheaper alternative. I bought them like crazy for years until the word got out. Luckily, I got most the ones I really want but am still hunting for a few more that eluded me. Popular Post 50YrsCollctngCmcs
I've been shuffling through the comic boxes and trying to get some things that have piled up into the right place. Ended up with this nice assortment of Golden Age in one pile that deserved a picture! Lots of four color glory! Popular Post Math Teacher
I recently purchased this book from a user on Instagram. I now have seventeen GA comics. This issue filled in the hole of my year-by-year collection for 1951. I now only need books from 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, and 1943. I would love to get a Timely super-hero book, but they are just SO expensive. My number one collecting goal for this year is to obtain a copy of Adventure Comics #247. If I tried to purchase a Timely book, that would delay my purchase of AC #247. Point Five, badback83, Jayman and 11 others
Popular Post Figment
My son just bought this Smash #10. I'm sort of surprised it wasn't listed as an Iron Man prototype (snark). He also bought a #4 because he thought it would be cool to have something/anything from the 30's. Popular Post Figment
Here's the rest of my sons foray into the 1930's, he said they make him think of his grandfather. (What a good kid!) They're interesting books, but not ones that hold a lot of excitement for me. Popular Post Math Teacher
I picked up Adventure Comics #64 and Sensation Comics #65 from @OdinsSecrets. In addition, I forgot I had Dead-Eye Western V2 #4 from the Edgar Church pedigree (sorry for the blurry picture). I now have twenty GA comics. AC #64 filled in the hole of my year-by-year collection for 1941. I now only need books from 1938, 1939, 1940, 1942, and 1943.
