Funny how posts on message boards can trigger old memories. Back in the '50's my folks would get the Sunday Times newspaper, and sometimes go to my grandparents house that day. They subscribed to the Herald Examiner, which had a different funny page offering. I didn't get the "bigger" books (Captain America 32, Brick Bradford 6 and Air Fighters v2 6 and 7) that were there, Which went to a bidder on the phone. It was kind of funny, I don't think the auctioneer had a clue what the comics were worth. But still came home with some books after the 3+ hour drive there and back. Here's the haul.
