Mike, Congrats on the grades for the two slabbed books. They're both great-looking copies. And the Detective Comics 45 is the first Joker story in the title making it a key book. I would sure hold onto these books. In fact, I would hold on to all of them; they're such classic golden age books! You and Jan have a Happy Thanksgiving next week!

Steve

lol Perfect timing on adamstrange's part. I've seen enough of his books to never underestimate what might be posted next.

I have wanted this book since I started collecting golden age 1 1/2 years ago.

Since Thanksgiving is coming up and nobody in my family would understand what the heck I'm talking about, I'll say it here: "I'm thankful that Cheetah doesn't collect mid-grade westerns."

This is the last one I picked up on Heritage. I've never had a Windy City copy of anything before.

Great, just great - now cheetah is after Centaurs.

We're all in BIG trouble now! (:

But he's still buying Nedors too

Nah, I only bought the Centaur because it was a Windy City and not very expensive. I'd tried on one other Windy City a little earlier but didn't like the price. I may do Centaurs one day but not soon. Nedors, Fiction House and then EC with the ocassional oddball cover thrown in.

As long as he stays away from the Actions, life will be good.
