BB-Gun
This is really great stuff. Thank you BZ and BB for sharing these early fanzines and APAs. Any ideas who the profiteering dealer is that JB is talking about? Jerry and Howard Rogofsky seemed to be at odds for a long time. Howard was sent the fanzines by airmail and usually scooped up the golden age comics before most fans had a chance to buy. Resale values were high but eventually Jerry increased his prices too. HIs wife, Jean, helped him a lot with the business IIRC. Howard sold me some nice books back in the sixties. I have no complaint. It just wasn't obvious, at the time, how fast the prices would rise and they stayed high too. I purchased Green Lantern 1 and Brave and the Bold 29 for less than a dollar from an ad in Comicolletor. Anyone want to sell them for that now? Edited January 9, 2012 by BB-Gun

BangZoom
I've been taking a look around YouTube. There are certainly lots of interesting videos. Jean Giraud (Moebius), Joe Kubert & Neal Adams - tit for tat (30-9-1972) Neal Adams, Joe Kubert and Jean Giraud (Moebius) improvise on the theme of heroes and monsters. For his favorite hero GIRAUD draws Blueberry, ADAMS draws Dead Man and Kubert, Tarzan.

Comics-n-ERB
Very neat to see three great masters of art go at it together! Sure would like to have those two pieces of art.
Scrooge
I just watched the first half where the theme they had to work on was: Attack! as, per the narrator, it's the main theme of US comic books with many characters attacking face front on most covers, attacking whom, we don't know. Just, maybe, the reader. While Joe K was drawing, Moebius was setting an appointment to visit Neal in his studio during his visit. Once all three creatures were created, Moebius was in charge to see how they would "gel" but given that they were not all on the same plane, Joe K and Neal adjusted the eyes of their drawings to focus them on one single item, the chicken Moebius added. Onto Part Two ...
