Right now I'm about 6,000 books. Used to have twice as many, but got married and she complained it was taking up to much room. So I sold about half my collection. Should have kept the collection since I got rid of her a year later.

Just over 4,000 for me.  Mostly late '70s - very early 90s Marvel and DC. Unlikely to add to it, but sell most and concentrate on acquiring a few personal keys.  But if my 7-year old ever gets interested in comics, then I'll just give them to him.

I have never counted but I would guess somewhere between 20K to 25K??? I'm 58 and started collecting seriously when I was 8. Pretty much everything from 1972 on was purchased new and almost all of my key back issues were purchased during the 70's, except for Hulk #1.

There's a cool story there. I had complete collections of many silver age Marvel titles by the time I was 16 except for Incredible Hulk which I was only missing #1. When I was 16 (1980) a friend of my mother whose father (who collected comics and recently passed) left his entire collection to her and her brother. I met her a few times in the past and had told her about my collection. She knew I was an avid collector like her father and after he passed, she GAVE ME Hulk #1!!! I would conservatively estimate it to be somewhere between a 7.5 to 8.5 grade, but it (like all of my books) has never been professionally graded.

I've never sold even one book and I'm not about to start now. My daughter gets them when I check out.

Hmmm...as a boy I had hundreds. These days I have about 23 slabbed 9.8's in a filing cabinet, which are purely for investment purposes. Anything I wish to read from the old days I just look at online for free.

According to my CLZ App, 17,290 and counting... still have a couple hundred I need to enter. Ranging from Silver to Modern. Don't think i have any Golden age books. JUST started grading books last year... so far I have about 15 slabs I think?

I don't know the exact count, but I have about 160-180 long boxes and about 30 short boxes, so maybe about 45,000 to 50,000 books total.  My graded collection is about 10 magazine boxes.

Hello all thought I throw my hat in ring as well. I currently have at the time of writing this currently 16,640 comics in Raw condition and 2,325 series and yes most of it is organized for the most part and work on organizing the collection as much as possible. CLZ App is my best friend and been using it for years. So yeah got myself a little comic shop in my own house and would be set reading wise lol.
