Thanks all for the good wishes...going out in the sun with my wife and two kids to the mall...and then off to the LCS and buy a TPB...and then...back home for some cake and ice cream...and then...planning my next CGC submission.... devil.gif

I just meant that it's a tall order.

 

BCM 50 is the holy grail for many PCH collectors, as I'm sure you know. Even though there are allegedly some file copies of this book, according to GPA there are no recorded sales of it in that grade (although there are 3 in the census). Copies between 9.0 - 9.4 have been going for around the $2K mark......

I love to aim high... and I know what I'm in for. There's probably a reason why they haven't sold...yet (at least not publically). I don't plan on being a completionist...just get in...get the top classic covers...and get back to my bronze. thumbsup2.gif

 

And if I leave with my tail between my legs...so be it tongue.gif It won't be the first or I doubt the last time. I'm in no rush...as I picked something hard on purpose...as I know it will allow me to start getting the funds for it.

 

Looking back, I had no idea how much of an adventure I was in for collecting this stuff...if nothing else hopefully I've raised some awareness for some of these great books. It's definitely been fun...the boards here being the best part. cloud9.gif
