  1. And I like all of the Mysterious Adventure covers with skeletons. At least number 20?
  2. At least two of the Thing covers, yes 12 is one but also 15.
  3. and what about Marvel Tales? I think there are 3 contender in that title too.
  4. At least three and maybe four if you include Spiderman should be on the list.
  5. I know that Baker drew most of the Phantom Lady stories for Fox but who did the back-up stories. I think Rudy Palais drew the back-up story in Phantom Lady 17. But did he contribute to other issues? This story from PL19 looks like work by Bob Fuji but I don't see a record of this.

  7. Yeah, the Duck Hunt book has the first appearance of Daffy but it is a linen book like Donald Duck 1935.
  8. Vacation Parade 2, 3 and 4 all have stories with Uncle Scrooge but he only appears on the cover of #2.
  9. Here are a few of the covers you mentioned. I am sure I have two copies of Vacation Parade 2 but I like VP 1 a lot more. Not sure about WDCS 140 but I probably have at least one copy. What was the first Scrooge story in WDCS?? Was it in 98?
  10. I am bbmason43 on ebay. Farmers Daughter 2 is currently listed.
  11. It is very similar to the origin from Superman 53 in 1948. It isn't the origin from strip 135. I will have to keep searching but I think most of my strips are either late 1944 and 1945 or early 1950s.
  12. I am building up boxes of books that people asked about. They will probably go on ebay pretty soon.
  13. My Mystery in Space books belonged here BUT I couldn't find the listing last week.
  14. I'm still working on my SciFi group even though it tends to creep into the silver age.
  15. Returns were usually turned into paper pulp. I have walked on piles of old DC, Dell and Marvel comics but only saved a few before I was arrested and taken downtown.
  16. I found a few Barks cartoons in my EyeOpeners. Does anyone have a list of what he contributed?
  17. I thought Pons posted under the name of ciorac?
  18. I thought Kubert signed my flash giveaway. What do you think?
  19. There is a nifty Sandman story in WF 1939 and pretty good Sup and Bats stories. My copies are really beat in incomplete but glad to have them.
  20. The end of the run must be special. I just picked up another copy of one of these.
  21. Nice bunch of Disney comics AJD. I like the next group (with WDCS 35) too but not sure if I have all of them up to 50. The 7 dwarves covers are always tough.
  22. Apparently those little people had a special knot that Superman couldn't break.
  23. If you look at the top left-hand corner of FC 318 and 328 you will see the marking DD 1 and DD 2 respectively. O If you count the number of WDDD four colors you will see there are 25. Perhaps they gave up on the above numbering system and started with 26 because there were 25 WDDDs already published.
