  1. Most of these are incomplete copies but the covers indicate that Superman became more important after the first year and a half. Sup was more prominent on the covers and was the only character featured on the cover starting with Action 19.
  2. Schomburg also drew the cover for issue 17. His work is a little more obvious thanks to the air-brush.
  3. Pretty cool Timely exhibit. I like the ads in the back of Timely Comics. I prefer them in color and occasionally had to make them myself...
  4. This is a section for people who want to talk about comics not buy or sell. By the way...
  5. I don't think that Catman is very common. What are the stats? I like it...
  6. and my favorite giant robot cover...not my scan but I really like the cover.
  7. The Claws green skin and the Streaks uniform blend in well and, oh yes, it matches the Silver Streaks hair.
  8. Wonder Woman was happy that the yellow background didn't clash with her Red, White and Blue uniform.
  9. Mickey likes a yellow background but Dorothy seems to have wandered off of the Yellow Brick Road due to a pesky dragon.
  10. Larryw7, that Batman was from people who worked out of the Yellow Garage in Mullica Hill, NJ.
  11. This isn't my copy and I didn't make the gif but I like posting it.
  12. Even when the background isn't yellow, the color is important. All Winners 5 with a sub in grey was not as cool as a sub in yellow.
  13. Speaking of Rampage...DC always liked to put a gorilla on the cover. Timely had that flaming guy who attracted a lot of attention.
  14. Some of my Batman 75 copies look yellow and some look orange. This Batman 12 looks yellow and Jerry signed it.
  15. Even Tiger Girl was in trouble on the cover of Fight.
  16. All of these are coverless. A new cover was made and sized to complete comics for storage until a real cover is found. I had so many coverless comics that I started to collect these covers and have been very pleased with the final results.
